GwEN ANDERSON

Gwen Anderson has a history of local food organizing and collaboration in the region, including the “Cannon Valley Grown” initiative, involvement with Renewing the Countryside, Minnesota Farmers Union, and Minnesota’s Sustainable Farming Network. She is passionate about uplifting the local food economy and partnering with other organizations to amplify shared food systems and food justice values.

Since 2019, Gwen has run The Local Plate, a food truck that aims to promote on-farm local food events. She has called Northfield home since 2015 and believes in meaningful community building to broaden the local sustainable agriculture community.
