Josie Trople & Arlo Hark

Cannon Valley Graziers is a sheep-powered land management company owned and operated by Arlo Hark and Josie Trople. With Backgrounds in agriculture and conservation ecology, they set out on a mission to have a positive impact on the ecology, soil health, and water quality of the Cannon River Valley, while providing customers with top-notch meat and fiber products along the way. Since their start in 2018, Cannon Valley Graziers has completed projects throughout much of southeastern Minnesota. Specializing in adaptive grazing, targeted vegetation management, and soil fertility, they have worked to meet their clients goals in prairie, forest, and agricultural ecosystems. They have also partnered with a number of solar developers and are excited to offer an effective, cost saving, and ecologically-friendly alternative to traditional O&M strategies. Josie has also worked at Sharing Our Roots as the Farm Manager and continues to be involved with work relating to the Minnesota Commons.
