FARM TOUR: Bird Watching
Join us for our first public farm tour of the season to learn about our resident bird species and how they benefit agriculture landscapes!
With special guest, Dan Kahl from Mt. Olivet Retreat Center. Dan has a degree in Wildlife Management and Horticulture and a life-long passion for birds. He’s identified over 120 bird species at Mt. Oliviet and has traveled the world following bird migrations.
Our walk with Dan will be about an hour long, with stops along the way to identify birds and talk about our Sharing Our Roots Farm operations. Please bring comfortable shoes, water, a hat and binoculars. Masks will not be required during the tour, as long as we practice social distancing of 6 feet.
Please register to save a spot! We will be limiting tours to 15 people.
Please note: 1 ticket/person. If you’re coming as a family or group, please reserve enough tickets for everyone attending. For example, a family of 4, needs to reserve 4 tickets.
The Sharing Our Roots Farm Tour and Bird Watching ticket sales has ended!
