Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Sharing Our Roots!
Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our volunteer opportunities are limited.
As a Sharing Our Roots volunteer, you will become part of an innovative and dedicated team on a mission to advance a resilient agriculture system that demonstrates the power to heal our lands, nourish our communities and prepare aspiring farmers.
Whether you are interested in fieldwork, research or outreach, your efforts will have a direct impact on not just our organization, but the communities we serve and the future of our nation’s food system.
Who can volunteer?
We welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds who are interested in meaningful, hands-on work. Whether you have a few hours to spare, a week or an entire summer! All volunteers receive an orientation and training on our COVID-19 protocols.
How do I volunteer?
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at Sharing Our Roots, please fill out and submit our online volunteer application below. For specific questions, please contact Rocky Casillas at email@example.com
All fieldwork and wildlife monitoring is based at our 100-acre farm near Northfield. For those interested in community organizing and outreach, we coordinate food distributions and support neighborhood gardens in both Northfield and Faribault.
