Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Sharing Our Roots!
As a Sharing Our Roots volunteer, you will become part of an innovative and dedicated team on a mission to advance a resilient agriculture system that demonstrates the power to heal our lands, nourish our communities and prepare emerging farmers. Your efforts will have a direct impact not just on our organization, but the communities we serve and the future of our region’s food system.
We're always looking for people to join our citizen science project, WildlifeCounts. Bird, insect and frog monitoring runs from April to August each year. This is great opportunity for anyone interested in learning about Minnesota's native species and who has time to volunteer throughout the summer. Other volunteer opportunities include joining us for field days throughout the summer. Check out our events calendar for more information on field days and other ways to stay connected to our farm!
Who can volunteer?
We welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds who are interested in meaningful, hands-on work. Volunteers under 18 years old will need to submit a Parental Consent Form. Please reach out to Farm Site Manager, Danielle Piraino at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are under 18, or have a child under 18, who'd like to volunteer.
