Ash Monk

Ash (they/them) is the new seasonal farm steward at Sharing Our Roots for the 2024 season. They have been farming for over seven years across the Midwest and in New York, most recently as a farm manager at Dream of Wild Health.

Their background as a community organizer has informed their work as a farmer organizer, as well as their emerging work as a community herbalist, and their role working in harm reduction in Minneapolis. They love growing, tending, foraging, sharing, and learning about plants and fungi in community.
