Volunteers play a critical role in Sharing Our Roots' efforts to revitalize our farmland, waterways, and native ecosystems. We value volunteer time and expertise and we look forward to seeing you out at the Farm!

FAQs

  • Sharing Our Roots is hosting monthly volunteer events throughout the 2024 growing season to support our new Farm Demonstration plot. Other volunteer opportunities include wildlife monitoring, conservation initiatives, event support, and general farm work.

    Most of these volunteer opportunities will require hands-on, physical work outdoors. If you are interested in volunteering with Sharing Our Roots in another capacity, please contact Margaret Anderson at margaret@sharing-our-roots.org.

  • We welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds who are excited to learn about and support agricultural and conservation initiatives.

    Volunteers under 18 years old will need to submit a Parental Consent Form.

    Please reach out to our Operations Director, Dawn Wegscheid at dawn@sharing-our-roots.org if you are under 18, or have a child under 18, who'd like to volunteer.
